Santana Mason was found hiding under a pile of laundry and taken back into custody without incident.
Police have recaptured and charged a 27 year old woman who escaped from a minimum security prison facility in Bentley yesterday morning.
Officers found Santana Mason hiding under a pile of laundry at a Cockburn Central home later that evening and took her back into custody without incident.
She was charged with Escaping from Lawful Custody and is due to front the Perth Magistrates Court today.
A 35 year old woman at the home was also charged after she allegedly lied to police about Mason hiding within her home
The unidentified female was charged with Aiding an Escapee and will face the Fremantle Magistrates Court on December 29.
