Windy weather warning for Mandurah

A severe weather warning has been issued for damaging winds for Mandurah and the South West.

The worst of the windy weather is expected from late this afternoon and evening.

The Bureau of Meteorology says thunderstorms and showers associated with the low pressure system may produce damaging winds of up to 100 kilometres per hour.

Conditions are expected to ease over the warning area from 10pm on Monday.

Locations which may be affected include Mandurah, Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Manjimup, Margaret River and Mount Barker.
