A search is underway in Wellard and Bertram bushland for a 31-year-old man who has been missing for more than a week.
John Ria Poe was last seen leaving Perth Airport at about 5:30pm on September 6 while his car was located later that night outside a house on Shannon Pass in Bertram.
Bank cards and other personal items were found in the car.
Police stepped up the search for the 31-year-old today by launching a search in bushland in Wellard.
A section of bushland near the Kwinana Freeway in Bertram is also a focus.
Mr Poe is described as 175cm tall, solid build, with short black hair, tanned skin and brown eyes.
He has a band tattoo around his right forearm. It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time.
Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of John Ria Poe to call police immediately on 131 444.
