Rockingham residents can now enjoy the food delivery service.
Late night snackers and busy families rejoice! Uber Eats has finally expanded its services to the Rockingham area.
The online food ordering and delivery system, an extension of the ridesharing platform, has been active in Perth for a number of years and has now finally started to make its way south of the river.
Services will commence from Thursday and will be operating between 8am and 10pm daily.
The delivery fee is $6.95 on all orders, an increase on the $5 fee in the capital city. However, Uber Eats Australia is offering a discounted delivery fee for the first few weeks for all customers.
The service area will include East Rockingham, Safety Bay, Shoalwater, Peron, Rockingham and part of Hillman.
Twenty local restaurants will launch with the service on Thursday including Steel Tree at the Foreshore, Sunsets Bistro, Chutney Mary's, Nando's, Tokyo Bento and more.
To celebrate the launch Uber Eats is offering a $10 off discount for customer's first orders using the promo code UEROCK10.
