Police were called to a home on Noosa Drive after residents reporting hearing gunshots around 2pm on Monday.
When officers arrived, no one was inside the home, but a blood trail was found and the front windows of the home had suffered damage from a “projectile”.
According to Seven News, the injured man was able to take himself to a home on Cawana Parkway in Lakelands before seeking treatment at Peel Health Campus in Mandurah.
Detectives then arrested a man at gunpoint on Harmony Avenue in Atwell.
Two men, aged 28 and 34, are now assisting police with their inquiries.
A police spokesperson said one of the men “has a wound believed to be from a firearm”, but his injuries are not life-threatening.
