Staff threatened at knife-point at Waikiki Subway

Police are hunting a man who held up a Subway store in Waikiki.

The man, who was wearing a balaclava, entered the store on Read Street around 4.30pm on Sunday and threatened staff with a knife.

He fled with a sum of cash.

Police believe he left the area in a light coloured vehicle, possibly a 4WD, and was last seen on Gnangara Drive.
