People are being reminded to exercise caution near coastal limestone formations as wind and water erosion can cause them to collapse suddenly.
Explore Parks WA has issued the safety warning as the wet winter period in the south-west comes to an end.
"It is not safe to climb on, or sit under or near limestone outcrops or overhangs.
"Overhangs can collapse suddenly without warning.
"Keep a safe distance from cliffs as they can also experience wind gusts that have the power to blow objects, and even people, off the cliff edge.
"Supervise children at all times when around cliffs."
