Hazardous conditions and three vehicle rollovers at Preston Beach have prompted a safety warning to drivers.
Local ranger and Shire of Waroona President Noel Dew is urging four-wheel drivers to take extra care.
It follows three vehicle rollovers in the last two weeks on Preston beach.
No one was seriously injured.
Mr Dew said exceptionally high tides have caused erosion on the beach, narrowing the track for four-wheel-drives.
"Be very aware, particularly during winter, conditions on the beach can change rather rapidly with drop offs, unstable edges and hidden hazards.
"If you see something that doesn't look right, then don't go there."
Mr Dew urged anyone driving on or around Preston Beach to pay attention to signage and read the guidelines on the Shire of Waroona’s website.
