Major Crash officers are investigating a crash that claimed the life of a motorbike rider yesterday afternoon.
Around 3.30pm yesterday a 2010 Kymco motorcycle was travelling east on Orrong Road when it collided with a silver 1998 Mitsubishi Lancer at the intersection of Kunrall Road and Orrong Road.
The 37-year-old male driver of the motorbike was thrown from his bike onto the road before being rushed to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
The man later died in hospital from his injuries.
The 31-year-old male driver of the Lancer was not injured.
Major Crash officers are seeking witnesses who may have seen the Kymco motorcycle or silver Mitsubishi Lancer driving in the Welshpool area prior to or at the time of the crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
