The burning permit period in the Shire of Murray has been shortened by 14 days due to unseasonable weather conditions.
Official dates for the Shire of Murray's burning permit period have been pushed forward.
Restricted Burning Time within the district this year will not commence until Sunday October 15.
It means residents are able to burn without a permit up until 11:59pm on Saturday October 14.
"A permit to set fire to the bush will be required thereafter."
Permits can be obtained by your local Fire Control Officer or Permit Issuing Officer.
