Young adults in the Peel region will have access to more opportunities as the Fairbridge College receives increased funding.
A partnership between Fairbridge and Alcoa has seen a boost to the number of traineeships the College can offer to disadvantaged youth in the Peel region.
With tourism on the rise in the region Fairbridge College has been able to add Certificates II and III in Hospitality to its VET programs.
Students at the college can also sign up for traineeships in carpentry and joinery as well as construction.
Fairbridge College is a Curriculum and Re-engagement school, designed to provide secondary education for youths disengaged from mainstream schooling.

They provide a second chance for those who don't meet the minimum age requirements for Vocational Education and Training.
Fairbridge students receive specialist numeracy and literacy tutoring, life development skill training and access to mentor support, free transport and breakfast.
