UPDATE: Police have located Mr Holmes, he is alive and well.
Phil Holmes was last seen when he went for a walk on Christmas Eve.
Family members of Phil Holmes have taken to Facebook to help locate the man who's been missing since December 24.
Mr Holmes was reportedly last seen on Christmas Eve by his brother, who said he went out for a walk but did not return home.
Concerns from the family grew when he hadn't returned by boxing day.
His daughter Aileen, who lives in Queensland said she began to feel distressed after he hadn't contacted her for Christmas.
Aileen describes the 52 year old to heavily drink, has no phone or transport and no job.
In a post on Facebook she also said his last paycheck came a week ago, and is doubtful he has enough money to get anywhere.
The grandfather currently lives in Furnissdale, but only moved there from Tasmania seven months ago.
