The search for the missing owner of a Saturday Lotto ticket worth more than $642,000 has finally come forward.
The man from Mandurah said when reviewing his numbers through his online account he soon realised the result was unusual.
“The winning numbers come up on your account as blue numbers,” the FIFO worker said.
“I’m used to seeing one or two blue numbers, but this time there were six.
“I sat there going “Wow that’s different”.”
The winner said he plans to keep working, but will do so mortgage free.
Lotterywest spokesperson James Mooney said Saturday Lotto continues to be a winning draw card for Western Australian players.
“To date, we’ve seen 16 Division One winners in WA, 13 of them have come from Saturday Lotto.
“We would love to see this number continue to grow ahead of tonight’s $20 million Powerball draw.”
While Lotterywest players have the chance to enjoy life changing prizes, the money raised from its games help support WA community groups.
Tickets for tonight’s $20 million draw can be bought until 6pm in-store, online or via the app.
