The first phase of Mandurah Forum's multimillion dollar transformation has opened to shoppers.
Member for Mandurah David Templeman officially launched the first stage of the $350 million redevelopment with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
A brand new Target, fresh food market hall and more than 60 new and returning specialty stores opened their doors for the first time to shoppers at 8 o'clock Thursday morning.
Project Manager James Fudge said parents will find new facilities as well.
"We've got pram parking, mobiles on the children's changing tables with no lights in their eyes and segregated feeding cubicles for privacy."
The redevelopment of Mandurah Forum has been under construction for just over a year and it is estimated that the project is creating 1,000 jobs throughout construction and more than 700 ongoing retail, hospitality and service jobs at the completed centre.
