Bayswater and Cockburn Police have ended an extensive theft investigation by charging a man with a whopping 40 offences.
It is alleged between November 2017 and 30 January 2018, an Embleton man committed the offences in the suburbs of Atwell, Aubin Grove, Bayswater, Bibra Lake, Dianella, Embleton, Hammond Park, Success and Wandi.
The 34-year-old has been charged with the following:
• 21 counts of Gains Benefit by Fraud;
• 13 counts of Stealing (12 from motor vehicles);
• 2 counts of Breach of Bail;
• 1 count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit;
• 1 count of Possess Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine);
• 1 count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia; and
• 1 count of Unlicensed Person Possess Ammunition.
He is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today.
