Firearms, ammunition, OC spray and firearm instruction manuals have been seized from a home in Greenfields as part of a nation-wide operation targeting illicit firearm activity.
In Western Australia, 32 search warrants were carried out across the state last week, leading to the seizure of 94 firearms, 223 firearm parts and several other weapons.
The operation led to 20 people being arrested and a total of 141 charges laid.
This included a raid at a home on Manjeep Road in Greenfields on Tuesday, October 14 where police allegedly found a homemade shotgun, parts used to manufacture firearms and copies of firearm instruction manuals.

A rifle stolen during a burglary in the Wheatbelt region in 2015 was also allegedly uncovered, along with ammunition, OC spray and a handheld electric shock device.
A 38-year-old Greenfields man was arrested and has been charged with a series of firearm and weapon offences.
He is due to appear before the Mandurah Magistrates Court on November 7.

“This week of action is another example of law enforcement agencies across the country working together in a coordinated effort to disrupt illicit firearms and illicit firearm activities. We are pleased that 94 firearms and over 200 hundred firearm parts have been taken off WA’s streets and out of the hands of criminals in our community," Detective Acting Inspector Cameron Hubbard said.
“The success of this week of action should serve as a reminder to anyone in Australia who is involved in illicit firearm activity – we are all working together, we will find you and we will bring you to justice.
“I would like to thank our partner agencies involved in the week of action, including the Australian Border Force and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, who provided valuable intelligence and support.”
