Two men have been charged after police stopped a car in Waroona and found three home-made guns, ammunition, a knife and prohibited drugs.
Police stopped a Nissan utility on the South Western Highway near James Road at about 8:30pm on Wednesday.
As a result of searching the vehicle, police located three home-made guns, ammunition, a knife and prohibited drugs in the vehicle.
A 25 year old man from Dwellingup has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful manufacture of a firearm, possess a prohibited weapon and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
A 38 year old man from Pinjarra has been charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Both will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on August 29.
