Francis John Wark, who was last week found guilty of murdering the Mandurah teenager, was sentenced to life in prison this morning.
Appearing before a judge in a Perth Courtroom, Francis John Wark was told he now will spend life behind bars for the 1999 murder of Mandurah teenager Hayley Dodd.
Reports confirm he will serve a minimum of 21 years.
Last week Wark was found guilty of murder at the end of an investigation spanning almost 20 years.
Hayley Dodd was 17 at the time she went missing in the goldfields.
The 61-year-old criminal, who has also been convicted of rape, fronted a judge-only trial last week where he was found guilty of murdering Hayley Dodd.
The trial lasted seven weeks and came to a close last Monday.
Hayley's body has never been found, detectives are still waiting for Wark to hand over the location.
Queensland Police are now also investigating another homicide, where the body of woman Katy O'Shea was found near Cairns in 2005.
Wark was requested to be interviewed by Queensland detectives over the matter.
