The City of Rockingham are holding a Youth Careers Expo next week.
People aged 14 - 25 are encouraged to attend the Shape Your Future Youth Careers Expo held by the City of Rockingham.
The expo will be focused on providing support to young people who are looking for work or need help to reach their career goals.
Those who attend will have the chance to meet employers and learn about the variety of career and study options available.
More than 60 stallholders will be at the event, and there will be chances for young people to apply for jobs directly at the expo.
City of Rockingham mayor Barry Sammels says the expo will assist young people in their hunt for employment.
"The expo is a free event that will give young people in the city a chance to engage directly with potential employers," he said.
"Youth unemployment is a pressing issue facing many communities across Australia.
"Young people are the future of our workforce so it is vital we are able to provide them with opportunities like this expo to help them enter the workforce."
The Youth Careers Expo will be held at the Gary Holland Community Centre from 10am - 1pm on Wednesday February 20.
