Cold Case detectives are asking for the public's help as they continue to investigate a historic burglary in Halls Head that ended with shots being fired at police.
A white 2005 Holden Commodore and personal electronic items were stolen during the burglary in Halls Head around 3am on Friday, November 23, 2007.
On December 6, 2007, police spotted the stolen Commodore in the Armadale District but the driver did not stop and a pursuit got underway.
During the chase, a person sitting in the front passenger seat fired a number of rounds from a shotgun at police.
A police firearm was also discharged.

The Commodore eventually came to a stop in a paddock near the intersection of Woolaston Avenue and Eleventh Road in Haynes after it failed to negotiate a roundabout and crashed through a wire fence.
The two people fled from the Commodore on foot through bushland.
Specialist police, including the Tactical Response Group and canine handlers, were called in to assist with the search.
Four hours later, one person was found about one kilometre north of the abandoned vehicle, hiding near a swamp.
On December 11, 2007, a second person was arrested by police.
Both of those people were later released.
