There will be changed traffic conditions on the main bridge crossing the Murray River in Pinjarra for the next five months to allow emergency repair works to be carried out.
Main Roads WA and Fulton Hogan Services, Jonor Construction Pty Ltd will be undertaking the works on South Western Highway from Tuesday, November 7.
Several timber piles will be replaced through efforts and works are anticipated for completion in March 2018.
Traffic over the bridge will be restricted to standard vehicles with extra mass, over width and over length vehicles required to use alternative routes.
A 40 km/hr speed limit will be in place.
There will also be occasional, short duration lane closures.
