Lake Clifton Wildlife is a not-for-profit incorporated association comprised of a dedicated team committed to rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife for eventual release back into their natural habitats. In addition to our rehabilitation efforts, we actively engage with the community by providing welfare checks on wildlife, responding to calls about animals in unsafe situations, and caring for orphans and injured wildlife. We receive numerous inquiries each week regarding injured and orphaned animals.
We are committed to enhancing our facilities to better accommodate and care for the wildlife under our supervision. Several of our carers are located in the Lake Clifton/Herron area, which is home to populations of endangered ringtail possums, brushtail possums, and vulnerable quenda. Currently, they are caring for 10 possums, including 4 endangered ringtails. As this area lacks access to scheme water, there is an urgent need for an additional rainwater tank to meet the water requirements of the wildlife.

Additionally, they require a mobile cage trailer and trail cameras to facilitate the monitored soft release of wildlife into appropriate habitats. One of our members, who owns a handyman business, has kindly offered to assist with labor for these projects at a reduced rate.
We are also seeking incubators for young joeys, a jab stick for administering medication, a net gun to aid in the capture of injured animals, as well as crates and transport cages. All proceeds will be put towards reaching these goals. There is a link that will take you straight to the ordering page on our Lake Clifton Wildlife incorporated facebook page
