Junior Painting Activity

Plein Air Down Under and City of Mandurah is excited to present an afternoon of family-friendly activities, including this guided painting activity for children aged 5-12 years. Children will be set up with canvas and paints, then provided with guidance (or let their imaginations run free) with an expert artist on hand to help.

There are four sessions available, but it's first-in-best-dressed on the day!

Session 1 –11am-12pm

Session 2 – 12pm-1pm

Session 3 – 1pm-2pm

Session 4 – 2pm-3pm

Don’t worry, there will be plenty for the grown-ups to enjoy also, with a coffee van and live entertainment onsite.

Paintings completed can either be taken home for the fridge gallery, or submitted for inclusion in The World Through Your Eyes exhibition at Dawesville Children’s Hub.

Junior Plein Air Painters – children who take part in the Legendary Landscapes workshop program also have the unique opportunity to become a Junior Plein Air Painter at the event – for the $10 registration fee, they will receive a special paint kit and be invited to paint throughout the Plein Air Down Under festival weekend!
