Would you know what to do if you witnessed harmful behaviour, harassment or violence?
Join us for the Curtin Bystander Project – Bystander Training Workshop, an opportunity to learn practical skills to recognise harmful behaviours, respond safely and help create positive change in our community.
The workshop explores how each of us can play a role in preventing abuse, harassment and violence by speaking up, challenging harmful behaviours and supporting others when it is safe to do so.
✨ What will you learn?
• How to recognise harmful behaviours and problematic situations.
• Practical ways to respond safely when witnessing inappropriate behaviour.
• How to intervene and support others without putting yourself at risk.
• How to challenge bias, assumptions and harmful attitudes.
• How everyday actions and conversations can help create safer, more respectful and inclusive communities.
